I was born in Germany and lived coast to coast during my parents’ seven military assignments.  I was baptized and added to the Lord’s church while living in California in 1981. Our family finally landed in Huntsville, AL which is where I spent my high school years. I feel so blessed to have experienced the Lord’s body in so many different places growing up. I then came to Starkville to attend Mississippi State University beginning in 1989, received my degree in Electrical Engineering and never left. I met my wife Susan on her first Sunday at MSU in the UCSC Bible class and we went on our first date 2 days later. Three years later we married and have shared many wonderful years together here in Starkville raising our three children – Jessica, Sydney, Bradley – while being a part of the Starkville church. During our time here in Starkville I have had the opportunity to serve in many ways – teaching classes, directing summer camp, serving as a deacon beginning in 2004 in the areas of Prayer, Involvement, Education, and Youth and Family before being asked to serve as a Shepherd in April 2014. One of my favorite passages of scripture is:

Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”
