Andy Miller

Andy Miller is our preaching minister. He and his wife Roslyn have been serving the church in Starkville since 2006. They have two grown children, Bethany and Jonathan. Andy grew up as an atheist/agnostic and became a Christian when he was a junior in college majoring in marine biology. He has a MS in ministry and has worked in ministry since 1984. Andy's passion is bringing the lost to Christ, and he has conducted Spread the Word Evangelism Workshops in 10 states and in Ghana, Africa and Haiti. He has reached out to the lost from the Deep South to the West Coast (Alabama to California and Florida to Pennsylvania) and has participated in foreign mission efforts in England, Malaysia, Singapore, Bulgaria, Haiti, and Ghana.

Andy enjoys cross-training and riding motorcycles. As a couple, Andy and Roslyn enjoy traveling, food ("diners, drive-ins, and dives" are the kinds of places they like to eat), and discovering out-of-the-way places.

"Spreading the Word" Blog

Check out my blog which gives weekly encouragement for us to share Jesus with others. Based on the passion and plea of Jeremiah 20:9 "But if I say I will not remember Him or speak anymore in His name, then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones; and I am wearing of holding it in, and cannot endure it." May this blog encourage you weekly to share Jesus!

Schedule a Spread the WORD Workshop for your congregation. This weekend workshop will equip your members to: set up one-on-one Bible studies; lead one-on-one Bible studies; conduct follow-up studies for new Christians; and prepare you to launch your evangelistic ministry. I have conducted workshops in some ten states and in several foreign mission fields. The Bible studies for non-Christians have been effectively used here in the states and overseas. Over a 1000 have been trained through this evangelism workshop over the past few years.

A usual workshop begins on Friday evening and goes through Sunday afternoon—see the brochure. For an additional overview of what is offered during the weekend check out the flyer and be sure to contact me at and get busy spreading the Word!
